PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for supporting session continuity when LIMONET(LIPA mobility and SIPTO at the local network) is supported in a wireless communication system are provided to constitute a network with a configuration of mixing a Session Continuity supporting structure and a Session Continuity non-supporting structure. CONSTITUTION: A terminal checks LIPA(Local IP Access) applicability of an MME(mobility management entity) when a PDN(Packet Data Network) connection request message is generated. The MME performs a GW query to a DNS(domain name server). The DNS responses to the MME with a local GW address a connected HeNB ID. The MME selects a local GW. The MME processes PDN connection after the connected HeNB ID is stored. |
