<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the flash coverage of a radiation and to decrease the radiation dose which an examination object receives when a radiation image is acquired when a biopsy is executed. <P>SOLUTION: A mammography apparatus 10 includes a radiation source 24, a collimator 25, and a radiation controller 134. The radiation controller 134 sets the flash coverage of a radiation 22 in a smaller range than the flash coverage of a radiation 22 of the acquired radiation image, obtained before a biopsy needle 50 is punctured in a mammo 20, so that the distal end of a biopsy needle 50 and a biopsy site fit into the range, when the radiation image is acquired in a state that a biopsy needle 50 is punctured in a mammo 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
