<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostriction measuring device capable of using a strong magnetic field to measure magnetostriction of a magnetic film covered with a shield layer. <P>SOLUTION: Bending means 13 supports a plate body 1 with a magnetic film in a manner capable of bending the plate body 1. The bending means 13 comprises: circumference support means 24 for supporting a circumference of the supported plate body 1 on one surface side of the plate body 1; and center support means 25 for supporting a central part of the plate body 1 on the other surface side of the plate body 1. In the bending means 13, the circumference support means 24 presses the plate body 1 with predetermined force. Magnetic field generation means 12 comprises: multiple electromagnets 21; and magnetic path extension materials 22 that are arranged on both sides of the plate body 1 supported by the bending means and that extend in a manner to connect to each core of one or more electromagnets 21 among the electromagnets 21.
