The bus has a wing mirror (5) located on the side of the access door (2), with a spherical mirror pane (8). This has a spherically curved section (11) extending to its lower edge to expand the driver's field of vision (16) downwards, and permit him to observe the complete entry area. The height of the spherical section is at a ratio of approx. 2.25:1 to 2.75:1 relative to the height of the aspherical section. The radius of curvature in the spherical section is approx. 2000 mm, and decreases in steps to approx. 150 mm in the aspherical section.
