A three-dimensional imaging device comprises: a light transmissive portion (2) having m transmissive regions (where m is an integer of 2 or more) having mutually different spectral transmittance characteristics; an imaging element (1) which is disposed so as to receive light transmitted through the m transmissive regions and in which a plurality of unit elements are disposed, the unit elements each including n photosensitive cells (where n is an integer greater than or equal to m) and n transmission filters disposed facing the n photosensitive cells and having mutually different spectral transmittance characteristics; and an image processing unit. The image processing unit generates multiple viewpoint images by using a matrix modified by changing the angle between at least two of m column vectors in an n × m matrix specified by the spectral transmittance characteristics of the m transmissive regions and the spectral transmittance characteristics of the n transmission filters.
