<p>The present invention can provide: a synchronous signal transmission system that can establish phase synchronization at a high precision; a synchronous drive system for an optical modulator; a synchronous signal transmission method; and a program therefor. The present invention is provided with: optical phase modulation circuits (26A, 26B) as one and another transmission processing device that transmit a plurality of data in phase synchrony; and one and another synchronous drive means (33A, 33B) that perform synchronization control of each transmission operation. The synchronous drive means (33A, 33B) are each provided with: a phase interpolation circuit (42, 72) that generates a synchronization-setting clock by externally inputting each reference clock that sets the operation timing of each of the optical phase modulation circuits (26A, 26B) via a pre-set, predetermined pathway, and then subjecting each reference clock to phase interpolation processing; and a synchronization setting circuit (60, 76) that considers the generated synchronization-setting clock to be a timing clock and, on the basis of same, performs synchronization setting of the timing of, together with a data signal for transmission, the data transmission operation of the optical phase modulation circuits (26A, 26B).</p> |
