<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force calculation system which is small size and low cost and can calculate a force applied to a target part of force calculation without using an electric device. <P>SOLUTION: A force calculation system 100 of the present invention is provided with: an air blowing unit 1 for blowing air at a predetermined pressure; a channel 2 for the air blown from the air blowing unit 1; a sensing unit 4 for varying the ease of flow of air that flows through the channel 2 by deforming when an external force is received; a flow rate meter 3 for measuring a flow rate of the air that flows through the channel 2; a storage unit 53 for storing in advance flow rate-force correspondence information 531 showing the correspondence between the magnitude of the force received by the sensing unit 4 and the flow rate at which the air blown from the air blowing unit 1 flows through the channel; and a processing unit 52 for calculating the magnitude of the external force received by the sensing unit 4, on the basis of: the flow rate of the air flowing through the channel 2 as measured by the flow rate meter 3; and the flow rate-force correspondence information 531 stored in the storage unit 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
