<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively improve an interphase PDIV at a coil end by equipping a rotary electric machine stator with a segment coil composed of a conductor segment. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 10 includes segment annular parts of a plurality of phases wound around a stator core 14 by distributed winding. The segment annular part of each phase includes a plurality of segment coils 22 formed in a coil shape by connecting a plurality of conductor segments 28 to one another. At a turn part-side coil end 46 of each segment coil 22 which is formed of a part protruding out from an axial end face of the stator core 14, annular insulation paper 50 with a projection part is inserted between two conductor segments 28 which radially adjoin each other. The insulation paper 50 with the projection part has a projection part 54 provided to axially project at one axial edge on the opposite side to the stator core 14 of an annular body part 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
