The invention relates to ammunition, primarily for automatic repeating artillery and small arms. The ammunition comprises a case having a bottle-shaped body with a shoulder and guides, a projectile, a propellant charge, and a primer. At least one preferably cylindrical separating body is disposed inside the propellant charge in the guides, said separating body having beveled or rounded edges on the two end faces, a diameter that is equal to or less than the diameter of the projectile but greater than the diameter of the barrel of the weapon, and depressions in the two end faces. The result is an increase in the speed and penetrating action of the projectile. |
