<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly work by preventing occurrences of vibration and resonance resulting from a gap. <P>SOLUTION: Electronic equipment provided with a device unit having a rolling mechanism and the manufacturing method thereof are provided. A chassis (16) is provided with an arrangement area (14) of a device unit (HDD unit 4), a plurality of vibration absorbers (gasket 18) are installed in the arrangement area (14), and support panels (20A, 20B) are erected across the arrangement area.
