<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED driver circuit and an LED luminaire that suppress turning-off of a current holding unit (e.g. a triac or the like) in a phase control dimmer caused by a resonance phenomenon, within the same half-cycle of an AC voltage, and that can suppress flickering in the LED. <P>SOLUTION: An LED driver circuit to which an AC power source is connectable through a phase control dimmer to drive an LED load, comprises a discharger for consuming energy of a resonance phenomenon generated by a dimmer capacitance component and a dimmer inductance component which the phase control dimmer has when a current holding unit of the phase control dimmer is turned on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
