The working equipment has an element movable by a work-hydraulic cylinder, where an energy recovering cylinder is provided for energy recovery from the movement of the movable element, which is filled with gas on bottom-side. An annular compartment is filled with a medium. A flow limiting element (8) reduces a flow of the medium from the annular compartment during a sudden drive of a piston rod (1). The annular compartment is connected with an external storage through the flow limiting element, where the medium flows into a storage during a drive of the piston rod. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a working equipment.
