Phthalate-free isocyanurate preparations

Preparation comprises 15-50 wt.% of an isocyanate group-containing isocyanurate, 85-50 wt.% of n- or iso-alkyl benzoate and 0.01-2 wt.% of Mannich base. An independent claim is included for producing the preparation, comprising performing the trimerization of isocyanate group-containing isocyanurate in the presence of n- or iso-alkyl benzoate and in the presence of at least one Mannich base acting as catalyst in the temperature of 40-140[deg] C and terminating the trimerization by thermal decomposition of the catalyst or by adding a catalyst poison when the content of free toluene diisocyanate in the reaction mixture lies below 1 wt.%.
