<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of occupant protection performance at the time of a vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a first startup determination means to determine startup of a front occupant protection device based on acceleration acting in the length direction of the vehicle, a second startup determination means to determine startup of a side occupant protection device based on acceleration acting in the length direction and the width direction of the vehicle, a safing determination means to conduct safing determination based on acceleration added in the length direction of the vehicle, a safing determination holding means to hold the result of the safing determination, and the startup direction means to direct the startup of the side occupant protection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
