FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for cooling turbo machine rotor disc grooves. Rotor disc edges have multiple axial grooves, annular flange, multiple vanes, retainer ring and multiple air passages. Axial grooves are regularly spaced apart around axis of rotation of the disc. Annular flange extends ahead of the disc upstream radial surface. Every vane has butt fitted in appropriate slot of rotor disc. Retainer ring has end arranged nearby disc upstream radial surface and annular flange extending ahead of said radial surface of the disc and around disc flange. Annular flange and disc flange interact to make annular cooling air diffusion chamber. Said diffusion chamber opens at its downstream end into bottom of every rotor disc slot located upstream of slot ends. Multiple air passages are arranged regularly around disc rotational axis to open into diffusion chamber nearby its upstream end.
