PURPOSE: A server for communicating a call and a message based on a password, a terminal thereof, a method thereof, and a recording medium thereof are provided to authenticate a call or a message transmitted to a user terminal based on a password set in a server linked with a communication network and process or prevent the call or the message according to the authentication result. CONSTITUTION: A synchronization storage unit synchronizes information about an authentication exception target and a password with a first user terminal(S501). A password sharing unit shares a stored password for a selected password sharing target(S502). The password sharing unit shares the password for a target not included in the password sharing target(S503). A server determines success in authenticating a requested password based on the password(S505). If the authentication is successful, the server normally processes a corresponding originating call and a message in a communication network(S506).
