PURPOSE: A terminal device and an electronic document managing method of the terminal device are provided to collect location information of the terminal device and insert the location information into an electronic document file, thereby variously applying information related to a writing location about an electronic document. CONSTITUTION: When an electronic document file is generated in a terminal device, a location information collecting unit(111) collects location information about the terminal device. A location information inserting unit(112) analyzes header structure of the electronic document file and inserts the location information into a predetermined area of the header structure. A storing unit(113) stores the electronic document file which the location information is inserted in a memory. The location information collecting unit collects longitude and latitude data related to a location of the terminal device.
