PURPOSE: A light emitting rechargeable battery and a light emitter which accepts the same are provided to emit lights to indicate charging while the battery is charged and to emit lights to indicate discharging while the battery is discharged. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting rechargeable battery comprises a casing(21) which forms the external appearance as a rechargeable battery, electrodes(12,31) equipped in the casing, an electricity storage part(30) connected to the electrodes, and a circuit part(24) electrically connected to the electricity storing part. The circuit part comprises a charging part(26) which charges the electric power in the electricity storing part, an LED operation part(27) which operates and radiates LED by the electric power; and a control part(28) which provides electrical energy to the LED operation part by converting a part of electrical energy discharged from the storage part into electrical energy when load is linked to the electrode.
