The invention provides a kernel oil extracted from plant kernels, comprising triglyceride 90-99.9%, diglyceride 0-5%, monoglycerides 0-3%, sitosterol 0.1-2.5% and cyclolanosterol 0-1%. The invention also provides two methods for the extraction of said kernel oil, the pharmaceutical compositions and the uses thereof.
