<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for discharging a paper sheet, which properly protect the confidentiality of an image formed paper sheet while improving usability. <P>SOLUTION: In the device 1 for discharging a paper sheet, a paper catch box 3 for storing the image formed paper sheet that is transported after an image is formed thereon, such that the image formed paper sheet is prevented from being taken out therefrom, is mounted to paper sheet discharging parts 2a-2d by a locking mechanism, such that the paper catch box is prevented from being detached therefrom by a means other than an unlocking operation based on unlock information. When the device for discharging a paper sheet detects a detachment of the paper catch box 3 from paper sheet discharging parts 2a-2d, the device executes a notifying process for notifying the detachment, thereby notifying the detachment of the paper catch box 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
