摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine that prevents overlap of fuel spray in main injection on flame or combustion gas by pre-injection in the internal combustion engine that performs the pre-injection and the main injection. <P>SOLUTION: Whether pre-injection spray flowing in a peripheral direction in a cylinder by swirl flow and main injection spray are overlapped with each other is calculated from a spray target position in the pre-injection and a spray angle of each injection, in a diesel engine in which the pre-injection and the main injection are executed. When both of sprays overlap with each other, the spray angle of the pre-injection is reduced to prevent overlap of the sprays by reducing lift speed of a nozzle needle of a fuel injection valve or common rail pressure during the pre-injection. Accordingly, combustion sound is reduced by shortening an interval between the pre-injection and the main injection, and exhaust emission is reduced by reducing smoke generation amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
