<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize that the pressure regulating function of a pressure regulation valve does not work and therefore the pressure inside the inner pot is not degassed to use a pressure rice cooker safely. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a pressure regulation valve 5 that is provided in an inner lid 4 and keeps a constant pressure by limiting discharge of stream from inside the inner pot 2; a steam passage 6 that emits steam exhausted from the pressure regulation valve 5 outside of a lid 3; a heating means 7 for heating the inner pot 2; and a controlling means 8 for controlling the electric power of the heating means 7. The lid 3 is provided with a first temperature sensor 9 for detecting the temperature inside the inner pot 2, and the steam passage 6 is provided with a second temperature sensor 10 for detecting discharge of steam from the pressure regulation valve 5 by a change of temperature. The controlling means 8 determines that the pressure regulation valve 5 becomes stuck during rice cooking when the second temperature sensor 10 does not rise more than a predetermined temperature during rice cooking and the first temperature sensor 9 does not fall more than a predetermined temperature than the temperature during rice cooking after finish of rice cooking and lets the user know that an abnormality occurs by sound, display, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
