TERMINAL MANAGEMENT UPGRADING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MULTI-MODE TERMINAL

Disclosed are a terminal management upgrading method and apparatus for a multi-mode terminal. The method includes: an application processing module side registering itself and a modem module side in advance; when it is judged that the modem module side has to be upgraded, the application processing module side downloading an upgrade packet from a server and saving the same; and the application processing module side sending the downloaded upgrade packet to the modem module side for upgrading processing. By using the AP module side to complete the short message parsing and the firmware upgrade at the MODEM module side in the present invention, the problem in the prior art that it is relatively complicated to upgrade the multi-mode terminal by way of the device management function is solved.
