<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconducting thin film wire having stable superconducting characteristics, which can inhibit local detachment of a silver protective layer, which occurs when a copper stabilization layer is formed by electric plating. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an oxide superconducting thin film wire in which an intermediate layer, an oxide superconducting layer, a silver protective layer and a copper stabilization layer are laminated on a metal substrate, comprises: a composite wire manufacturing step of manufacturing a composite wire by sequentially forming the intermediate layer, the oxide superconducting layer and the first silver protective layer on the wide metal substrate; an oxygen introduction step of introducing oxygen into the oxide superconducting layer by performing a heat treatment on the composite wire under an oxygen atmosphere; a wire thinning step of thinning the wire by cutting the composite wire into a predetermined width; a second silver protective layer formation step of forming the second silver protective layer around the thinned composite wire by using a vapor deposition method; and a copper stabilization layer formation step of forming a copper stabilization layer by using electroplating around the composite wire on which the second silver protective layer is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
