POWER SAVING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prompt a user to take a power-saving action in a period of high power demand.

SOLUTION: A power demand amount acquisition part 1A acquires a power demand amount P(t) of each power supply area that each user belongs to from a power supply system 2 for the power supply area, a virtual charge rate calculation part 1B calculates a virtual charge rate R(t) which varies as the power demand amount P(t) varies based upon the power demand amount and a reference power demand amount Pst, and a point calculation part 1C calculates points Q by adjusting a saving charge ΔW corresponding to a saving consumption ΔP indicative of electric power that the user saves with the virtual charge rate R(t) and converting the saving charge into points.
