PURPOSE: An oxygen-resistant or blood pressure controlling food composition containing a lactobacillus fermented Gastrodia elata extract is provided to improve the oxygen-resistant and blood pressure controlling functionality of Gastrodia elata. CONSTITUTION: An oxygen-resistant or blood pressure controlling food composition contains a fermented Gastrodia elata extract or its dried powder as an active ingredient. The fermented Gastrodia elata extract is obtained by injecting lactobacillus to the Gastrodia elata extract, and fermenting the mixture. The lactobacillus is Lactobacillus brevis.
