<p>A hybrid powertrain control and control method comprises controlling a motor-generator electric unit (500, fig 1) of a hybrid powertrain (100), wherein when a hill holder condition is detected an electric torque C_el, provided by the motor-generator electric unit, is controlled by an axle rotational speed so that the speed is equal or greater than zero. The hill holder condition is determined by both vehicle speed equal to zero 20 and brake pedal release 21. A further step 22 involves a self-check which includes at least a state of charge of a plurality of batteries and battery power. The control is a closed loop control wherein the axle rotational speed is compared to a set point value which is equal to zero and the closed loop control is performed by a proportional and integral regulator. The hybrid powertrain comprises the motor-generator, the plurality of batteries, an internal combustion engine and an electronic control unit. Reference is also mad to a computer program, computer program product, control apparatus and an electromagnetic signal modulated as a carrier.</p> |
