PURPOSE: A steel pipe pile and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate pile driving work by tapering the front end and base portions of the steel pipe pile. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe pile(P) comprises a steel pipe body(100), a front member(200), a cap member(300), and an inner pipe. The steel pipe body comprises a steel pipe(110), a front tapered portion(120), and a base tapered portion(130). The front member is fixed to the end of the front tapered portion. The inner pipe is fixed to the inside of the front end member, the cap member, and the steel pipe body, and the top end thereof is welded to a support plate. |
