PURPOSE: A site exploration method is provided to perform a non-destructive inspection and to reduce time and costs and to minimize the influence of noise by an adjacent structure. CONSTITUTION: Site exploration equipment is installed(S2100). An oscillator generates surface waves by adding shock load(S2200). A geophone obtains data of the surface waves(S2300). A surface wave distribution curve which shows phase velocity relation for wavelength is obtained by changing the data into a frequency region(S2400). The surface wave distribution curve is reversely calculated and the intensity of ground is obtained(S2500).
