<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy battery tester. <P>SOLUTION: A battery tester comprises: a casing provided with an inputting device and two detecting wires; a microprocessor; a load unit; and a battery power state detecting unit. An important determining process is created inside the microprocessor to determine loading time for a battery in accordance with battery capacity, battery voltage, and detection requisites including 1/N CCA and loading time inputted from the inputting device.
