<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard system for supporting driving of an automobile following traffic lights in a form which does not give a user an uneasy feeling. <P>SOLUTION: When a vehicle is stopped before an intersection and a traffic light on the route in the travelling direction of the vehicle is red, the onboard system of the vehicle waits for the other traffic light on the other route to also turn into red. When the traffic light on the other route has also turned into red, the system makes a timer having a specific timeout time start. When the timeout has occurs, the system outputs a caution message with voice to a speaker 19 via a voice output part 20 while inhibiting reception of user operation of an audio device 17 and a navigation device 16 which are operable via an operation part 11 by controlling a GUI control part 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
