<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient variable lamp socket capable of being used in common by changing a mutual space of right and left lamp holding sections so as to make them coincide with its pitch, even though the pitch of an U-shaped cold-cathode tube is different in case the tube diameter of the U-shaped cold-cathode tube is the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the lamp socket LS where the right and left lamp holding sections 2, 2 for holding both ends of the U-shaped cold-cathode tube, a connection section 3 with long sideways for connecting the right and left lamp holding sections, and right and left leg sections 4, 4 projected downwardly are integrally molded with elastomer, a cavity section 3a penetrated in a vertical direction is formed on the connection section 3, and the connection section 3 can be easily curved as a double wall structure having a front wall section 3b and a rear wall section 3c. The mutual space of the right and left lamp holding sections 2, 2 can be arbitrarily shortened and changed by curving the connection section 3. Cost reduction of the lamp socket can be attained by using it in common even though the pitch of the U-shaped cold-cathode tube is different, and a troublesome sorting work for the lamp sockets can be removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
