<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic medical chart system for solving the problem of the switching operation of the proper output destination of an order. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic medical chart system includes: a client terminal 12 equipped with a storage part for storing doctor authentication information relating to the system authentication of a doctor and patient information relating to a patient in association, an input part for inputting prescription order information, and an output part for displaying the order information, and installed in a medical examination room; and a server 11 configured to read the doctor authentication information and the patient information from the storage part, and to edit an order from the doctor from the doctor authentication information and the patient information and the prescription order information input by the input part, and to perform the communication control of the edited order, therein a plurality of client terminals including the client terminal 12 and the server are connected via a local area network 15.
