<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination machine and an automatic ticket vending machine for, even when a commuter season ticket is used although the end date of the season ticket is expired, displaying wording to promote the purchase of the season ticket under predetermined requirements. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the automatic ticket examination machine 30 having an IC card reading part 31 for reading an IC card held by a user and a guidance display part 32, the automatic ticket examination machine 30 being configured by including: expiration determination means for, when the IC card is a season ticket having an SF function, determining whether or not the end date of the season ticket is expired; requirement determination means for, when it is determined that the end year of the season ticket is expired by the expiration determination means, determining whether or not predetermined requirements are satisfied; and wording setting means for setting wording to promote the purchase of the season ticket. When it is determined that the predetermined requirements are satisfied by the requirement determination means, not only a fare adjustment sum to charge the user with a passenger fare and a charge balance after fare adjustment but also the wording to promote the purchase of the season ticket set by the wording setting means are displayed at the guidance display part even when the end year of the season ticket is expired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
