ARTIFICIAL TURF STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF COOLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial turf structure that enables a temperature rise to be suppressed for a long time even under the blazing sun in the summer and enables comfortable play to be maintained.

SOLUTION: As part of a filler 5 for filling a space between piles 4 of artificial turf 3, a water retention chip 6 having a temperature rise suppression effect is used. The water retention chip 6 contains a water-absorbing resin 62 inside a foam member 61 having a sponge structure.
