<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that enables, while the area of a nip part between a fixing belt and a pressing member is sufficiently secured, the sliding load of the fixing belt in the nip part to be stably reduced over a long period of time, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 13 includes: a fixing belt 21; a belt support member 22 inscribing in a fixing belt 21; a pressing roller 23 which is pressure-contacted through the fixing belt 21 to the belt support member 22; and an induction heating unit 25 disposed on the opposite side to the pressing roller 23 with the fixing belt 21 held therebetween. In the belt support member 22, a storage part 33 for storing a silicone oil 34 and an oil supply passage 35 are formed which makes a lower part of the inner surface of the storage part 33 communicate with a lower surface of the belt support member 22.
