<p>The embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an user equipment and a base station for compensating power. The method includes: a base station receives a path loss value reported by the user equipment, or calculates a path loss value according to the receiving power value of a reference signal reported by the user equipment; compensates the power based on the path loss value. With the embodiments of the present invention, the power of signal can be compensated so as to enable the receiving ends to have same powers when the signal is transmitted on the uplink or on the downlink, so that the transmission modes based on the codebook can be multiplexed.</p>
