<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave power generation apparatus capable of effectively taking out power generated by wave power without consuming much power for an operation required to operate the wave power generation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The wave power generation apparatus 1 includes a weight 3 mounted to a floating body 2 by a spring 4 and linearly reciprocated according to the fluctuation of a water surface, and a power generator 8 driven based on the linear reciprocating motion of the weight 3 to generate power. The weight 3 is used as a piston stored in a cylinder 9 to compress air in the cylinder 9 based on the linear reciprocating motion, and the cylinder 9 is provided with compressed air discharge piping 12, 13 for taking out compressed air compressed by the weight 3 to the outside of the cylinder 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
