<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) sensor cell and an SPR sensor which have extremely excellent detection sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The SPR sensor cell of the present invention comprises a detection part and a sample arrangement part adjacent to the detection part. The detection part includes an underclad layer, a core layer provided so as to be at least partially adjacent to the underclad layer, and a metal layer covering the core layer.
