PURPOSE: A wireless network security system based on a client and method thereof are provided to promote security by controlling network packets for unauthorized wireless AP(Access Point) by dividing a wireless AP into the authorized AP and the unauthorized AP. CONSTITUTION: A security server(200) transmits unauthorized policy information and authorized wireless AP list according to the request of a client terminal(100-1~100-n). One or more client terminals receive the authorized wireless AP list and the unauthorized policy information from the security server. When an external wireless AP is the unauthorized wires AP, the client terminals acquire network card information connected to the requested wireless AP. The client terminals the MAC(Media Access Control) address of the acquired network card information and the unauthorized policy information to an NDIS(Network Driver Interface Specification) medium driver.
