<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-type engine, capable of cooling a lubricating oil in a main lubricating oil path, and capable of reducing the weight of the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The V-type engine 50 includes two cylinders 52F, 52R disposed like a V character, and a main lubricating oil path 83 for sending the lubricating oil to each place of the engine 50 is provided at a base 58 of a valley of two cylinders 52F, 52R.
