<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of producing a polyester-polyol with little coloration by depolymerizing a raw material polyester in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the polyester-polyol comprises a process in which a mixture comprising the raw material polyester, a polyol component and a catalyst selected from the group consisting of tin complexes and organic tin soaps as essential components is heated to depolymerize the raw material polyester.
