Foam sealing strips for sealing a window frame and for installing prepared window frames

The sealing strip (1) has a narrow side (5) having a higher vapor braking action than the narrow side (4). The higher density of the additive material is achieved by smaller height than the foam exhibiting additional foam material. The higher density of material is achieved by the portion of height of solid formed strip formed at same height of expanded foam material. The solid form strip over the whole is contacted with the window or soffit appropriate broad side (2) to obtain a different material density of the foam material over the width of zones (10) of different bar strengths. An independent claim is included for window bay.
