A guard for protecting the genital area during hair removal comprises a first rim portion 2 and a second genital shield portion or cover 10. These portions are formed from a 10 single piece of resiliently deformable material such as polyisoproprene rubber. The shield portion is preferably a prolate semi-spherical shape. A water soluble adhesive may be dispersed around the rim portion 2 to secure the guard in place. The cover portion may be flattened when the device is stored. The guard may be single use only. |
