PURPOSE: A rust-proofing cap offering a completely rust proof effect to a cut-out portion, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to rust-proof processing the cut-out portion on a lug cap or a crown cap using the electric-chemistry reaction. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a rust-proofing cap including a lug cap or a crown cap(1) comprises the following steps: cutting a steel plate selected from a tin-electroplated steel sheet or a chrome-electroplated steel sheet, coating the steel plate before printing; pressing the printed plate to obtain the cap; and rust-proof processing the cap. The rust-proof processing step is performed by the following steps: inserting the cap into a coater, and firstly washing the cap; soaking the cap in a coating bath for transferring a colloidal phase resin in the electric potential of cations to the cut-out portion of the cap having the electric potential of anions; and secondly washing the cap before drying, and attaching a gasket sealing member on the inner surface.
