PURPOSE: A cooling device of a ball screw for a machine tool is provided to prevent the ball screw from becoming deformed as refrigerant in a rotary shaft circulates. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device(100) of a ball screw for a machine tool comprises a rotary shaft(110), a plurality of support units(120), a base(130), and a refrigerant tank(140). The guide member of the rotary shaft guides refrigerants in order to cool friction heat generated when a ball screw is transferred. The supports units rotationally support the rotary shaft, and supply the refrigerants to one end of the rotary shaft. The support units discharge the refrigerants generated by the rotary shaft. The base fixes the support units, and transfers a bed(131) which to be connected to the ball screw. The refrigerant tank is connected to each support unit, and stores the refrigerants discharged or supplied to the rotary shaft.
