PURPOSE: A method for machining a large-sized rotor for a power generator is provided to reduce a processing time and damages to transportation equipment as the processing work is performed through one movement from a HBM(Horixontal Boring Machine) to a PM(Plane Miller). CONSTITUTION: A method for machining a large-sized rotor(100) for a power generator comprises following steps. A temporary material part for centering is removed after a center hole(102) is processed in a HBM. The removed part is machined in a shape of the rotor. A center plug is assembled to the end of the rotor. The rotor assembled to the center plug is finally cut in a PM. The center plug is separated from the rotor. |
