PURPOSE: A method for triggered acquisition of measurement data by a magnetic resonance apparatus while suppressing unwanted signals, the magnetic resonance apparatus, a computer program product, and an electronically readable data medium are provided to obtain the measurement data by suppressing the unwanted signals. CONSTITUTION: Preparation modules(FS) are executed from the start with constant time interval TR-FAT. The time interval between two successive preparation modules is limited at the low end by the duration of an interposed acquisition module. The minimum time interval is used to determine the TR-FAT. Unwanted signals of nuclear spins are suppressed equally well in all slices, independent of the time position of an associated acquisition module in an acquisition phase.
