APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SWINGING WELDING TORCH IN AUTOMATIC WELDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure preset excellent welding quality and to prevent the looseness of a fastening part of an apparatus by suppressing load vibration caused by an inertia load when swinging a welding torch by a linear motion actuator.

SOLUTION: Welding treatment is performed to a work part by swinging the welding torch by the linear motion actuator 21. When the linear motion actuator 21 for carrying out welding treatment to the work part through the welding torch T is operated, a counterweight is operated to nullify vibration generated during the operation of the linear motion actuator, thus suppressing vibration generated when the linear motion actuator is operated.
