PURPOSE: A VOC reducing device for a liquid cargo storage tank is provided to reduce the amount of VOC due to rapid pressure drop at the top of a vertical pipe when initially loading liquid cargo. CONSTITUTION: A VOC reducing device(100) for a liquid cargo storage tank comprises an auxiliary tank(110). The liquid cargo storage tank(10) comprises a horizontal pipe(20) and a vertical pipe(30) Liquid cargo flows into the horizontal pipe from the outside. The vertical pipe is connected to the horizontal pipe and is downwardly extended from the top of the liquid cargo storage tank to the bottom thereof. The auxiliary tank is installed inside the liquid cargo storage tank and surrounds the lower part of the vertical pipe.
